1 Notice of Recording/Webcast

3 Declarations of Interests

Members are reminded they must declare all relevant  pecuniary and other registerable interests arising from any business to be discussed at this meeting.

 

If a disclosable pecuniary interest is declared a Member must not participate in any discussion or vote on the matter and must not remain in the room unless they have been granted a dispensation.

 

If other registerable interests are declared a Member may speak on the matter only if members of the public are allowed to speak at the meeting but otherwise must not take part in any discussion or vote on the matter and must not remain in the room unless they have been granted a dispensation.    

 

If it is a ‘sensitive interest’, Members do not have to disclose the nature of the interest, just that they have an interest.

5 Action Tracker
To review and note the actions from previous Neighbourhoods Overview and Scrutiny Committee meetings.
6 Transformation of Neighbourhood Advice and Information Services and Community Libraries
The Transformation of Community Libraries and Neighbourhood Advice and Information Services report is no longer on the agenda for Cabinet next week. As a result, this will not be considered by Neighbourhoods Overview and Scrutiny Committee tomorrow. 

Library services play a valuable role at the heart of our communities, providing support to residents and access to culture, education and information for all. Following public consultation, a report into the future of this service is currently being finalised and is now expected to be delivered to Cabinet in February.

7 Improvement and Recovery Plan and Savings Progress Report: September Data
To note the contents of the appendices to this report and the progress to date with delivering Savings and IRP Priority Programmes for 2024/25 under the Neighbourhoods O&S Committee's remit.
8 Implementation for Waste Transformation
Cllr Majid Mahmood, Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport, Andy Vaughan, Interim Director, Street Scene, Rob Edmondson, Assistant Director, Waste Management, and David Coulson, Interim Transformation Director, City Operations (online) in attendance.
9 Review of Parks

An addendum with the Commissioners' review has been added.
