Welcome to the CMIS (Committee Management Information System) pages on the City Council's website. These pages give you access to agendas, minutes, reports and decisions of meetings, as well as information about other democratic bodies in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands that you may be interested in.
It is important that you are able to find out what's going on as well as having easy and quick access to the information. The menu down the left side of this page allows you to navigate to areas within the database, for example to the Forward Plans - listed as the sixth item on the menu.
To receive updates on committee meetings please first Register, using this link. You will be automatically logged into the website and should navigate via the left hand menu to "My Pages > My Subscriptions" to indicate items of interest. Please note that you will need your login credentials created when registering, should you subsequently wish to return to 'My Subscriptions' to add or amend at a later date.
All historical data has been transferred over from 'Democracy in Birmingham' marked as 'Private' documents due to technical restrictions. All meetings can be viewed by date within the 'Meetings' tab on the left hand menu. Should you wish to view a 'Public' document, please email: CMIS@birmingham.gov.uk stating the Committee name, meeting date and document name.
Meetings of the City Council and its Committees held in public are broadcast live during the meetings on webcasts and can be viewed 'live' or watched afterwards from our archive.
