Members are reminded they must declare all relevant pecuniary and other registerable interests arising from any business to be discussed at this meeting.

 

If a disclosable pecuniary interest is declared a Member must not participate in any discussion or vote on the matter and must not remain in the room unless they have been granted a dispensation.

 

If other registerable interests are declared a Member may speak on the matter only if members of the public are allowed to speak at the meeting but otherwise must not take part in any discussion or vote on the matter and must not remain in the room unless they have been granted a dispensation.    

 

If it is a ‘sensitive interest’, Members do not have to disclose the nature of the interest, just that they have an interest.

To agree and sign the Minutes of the Birmingham Schools Forum held on 19 June 2025. 

 

 

The Senior Committee Manager and Committee Officer to present a report in relation to the terms of office for Members of the Schools Forum.

Members to elect the Chair of the Schools Forum for the academic year 2025/2026.

Members to elect the Vice Chair of the Schools Forum for the academic year 2025/2026.

Members to approve the constitution of the Schools Forum for the academic year 2025/2026.

The new Schools Forum action tracker will be informed by discussions held at this meeting.

Local authority update to be given by the Director of SEND and Inclusion.

The Schools Forum is scheduled to meet on the following dates during the 2025/26 municipal year:

4 December 2025, 1400-16.00. Pre meeting 1300-1400. Meetings to be held via MS Teams.

15 January 2026, 1400-1600. Pre meeting 1300-1400. Both meetings to be held at the Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham.

16 April 2026, 1400-16.00. Pre meeting 1300-1400. Meetings to be held via MS Teams.

Members to note updates on the work programme.
