3 Declarations of Interests

Members are reminded they must declare all relevant  pecuniary and other registerable interests arising from any business to be discussed at this meeting.

 

If a disclosable pecuniary interest is declared a Member must not participate in any discussion or vote on the matter and must not remain in the room unless they have been granted a dispensation.

 

If other registerable interests are declared a Member may speak on the matter only if members of the public are allowed to speak at the meeting but otherwise must not take part in any discussion or vote on the matter and must not remain in the room unless they have been granted a dispensation.    

 

If it is a ‘sensitive interest’, Members do not have to disclose the nature of the interest, just that they have an interest.

To agree and sign the Minutes of the Birmingham Schools Forum held on 24 October 2024. 
To review and note the actions from previous Birmingham Schools Forum meetings.
To receive a local authority verbal update.

The Birmingham Schools Forum to receive and agree the de-delegation of the school phase for 2025/26, as set out in the report.


This report sets out the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) budget forecast for quarter 2, 2024/25. Members are recommended to note and comment on the report.

This report is to update the Birmingham Schools Forum on the historical issue with the 2021/22 Early Years Dedicated Schools Grant affecting schools. 

The Money Following Excluded Pupils (MFEP) Protocol is based on the School and Early Years Finance (England) Regulations 2015.

12 Date and Time of Next Meeting

To note the next meeting of the Birmingham Schools Forum is Thursday 16th January 2025 at 14.00PM.

This meeting will be in Committee Rooms 3 & 4, Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham.
