On 26 June 2018, Cabinet:- (i) Approved the appended OBC for the development of Alexander Stadium as a critical venue for the Commonwealth Games 2022; (ii) Approved expenditure in 2018/19 of £2.66m in order to progress the project to Full Business Case (FBC) stage; (iii) Approved the acceptance of up to £50,000 external grant funding from Sport England to be used for the production of a Masterplan and supporting business plan to inform the design of a sustainable community sports stadia facility; (iv) Authorised the Director of Legal and Democratic Services/City Solicitor to negotiate, execute, seal and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above recommendations. THE DEADLINE FOR CALL IN IS 1600 HOURS ON TUESDAY 3 JULY 2018.
