On the 10 December 2025 the Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport:

  1. Agreed to approved Birmingham City Council’s participation in the BLOSSOM European pilot project and the acceptance of associated funding to deliver its initiatives. The project is fully funded through the EU Horizon programme; and

  2. Authorised the City Solicitor (or their delegates) to agree and complete all legal documents to give effect to the above recommendation on or after 31st October 2025.
