Report of the Executive Director City Operations.

1. Approved the Full Business Case (Appendix 1) for the improvements to Stechford Lane Public Open Space at an estimated total contract value of £356,848 excluding VAT (which includes £56,780 in professional fees).
   
   
2. Approved the Parks and Greenspaces Development Team design and implement environmental and recreational improvements at Stechford Lane Public Open Space for the creation of new children’s play facilities, a multi-use games area, parking and access improvements and nature and biodiversity enhancements.
   
   
3. Approved the allocation of professional fees in the sum of £56,780 to enable the Parks and Greenspaces Development Team to complete the detail design and production information, undertake the project management role including the planning application processes, procurement and supervision of the works on site.
   
   
4. Delegated approval to the Assistant Director of Neighbourhoods to award a contract and place an order with an approved contractor on the Landscape Construction Framework 2024-28 in the sum of up to £300,068.00 to implement the works at Stechford Lane Public Open Space.
   
   
5. Authorised the Finance Business Partner, City Operations, to draw down the funds from the relevant S106 accounts to reimburse the capital expenditure incurred on the project.
   
   
6. Authorised the City Solicitor or their delegate to execute and complete all necessary legal documents to give effect to above.
