Decision Outcome
On 10 December 2024, Cabinet:-
(i) Noted
that Councillor Phil Davis has resigned from the Birmingham Museum Trust Board
with immediate effect. This has resulted in a vacancy for the Labour Group on
the Birmingham Museum Trust Board. A Councillor nominee from the Labour Group
Secretary is therefore being awaited. Once a nomination has been made a report
will then be submitted to Cabinet for approval;
(ii) Agreed
the appointment of Councillor Gareth Moore to serve a further term of four
years from the 9 November 2024 with the Banner’s Trust ending on the 8 December
2028; and
(iii) Agreed
the appointment of Councillor Waseem Zaffar to serve for a term of four years
with the Handsworth Charity ending on the 9 December 2028.
