Decision Outcome
On the 8 January 2025 the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families:-
1. Approved the project costs for the demolition of the former Minerva Centre at
which will not exceed £336,000 including £50,000 contingency;
2. Approved the Full Business Case appended to this report;
3. Delegated authority to the Strategic Director of Children and Families in
consultation with the Director, Commercial and Procurement, the Interim Director
of Finance (Section 151 Officer) and the Interim City Solicitor & Monitoring Officer
(or their delegates) to award a contract for the Works after completion of the
tender process, subject to the value being within the approved budget in this
report; and
4. Authorised the Interim City Solicitor & Monitoring Officer to complete all necessary
documents to give effect to the above recommendations.
