Purpose
Birmingham City Council (BCC) currently has several active Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) in place within the city. These orders were implemented following the identification of complex and varied issues that impacted on local residents, businesses and partners, and that resulted in anti-social impacts. The introduction of a PSPO is evidence-based and involves evidence-gathering and consultation before implementation.
For the Cabinet Member grants approval to move forward with evidence gathering and public consultation on the implementation of the proposed Coventry Road PSPO.
