On the 07 November 2025, the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy & Skills;
(i) As referenced in clause 2.2 of the current agreement, agreed for an extension to the current contract for a further 3 years (2026-2028).
(ii) As referenced in Schedule 1 Clause 1 of the current agreement, updated the required fees thus delivering an identified saving in 2025/6 and confirmed future savings for the length of the extended agreement, as detailed in Appendix 1 – exempt information to the report.
(iii) As referenced in Schedule 1 Clause 2 of the current agreement, agreed for a change to revenue share provisions of Half Marathon & 10k entry fees, as detailed in Appendix 1 – exempt information to the report.
(iv) Agreed for Birmingham City Council to continue to support Nova International with permissions within the City, including access to Cannon Hill Park and provision of the TTRO. Associated costs will remain the responsibility of Nova International.
(v) Agreed for Birmingham City Council to support in delivering the Junior & Mini events at Alexander Stadium.
(vi) Agreed in good faith to discuss the addition of a Marathon to the existing event or at an alternative time of year, post 2026. All other terms and conditions within the 2022-2025 contract to remain the same.
