On 18 March
2025 Cabinet:-
(i)
Noted and approved the additional capital costs
of £5,165,819 resulting in the total cost of the overall project increasing to
£25,640,235;
(ii)
Approved the revised Full Business Case appended
to the report in Appendix 1 to the report;
(iii)
Delegated the award of the main contract to the
Executive Director of Children and Families in conjunction with the Director,
Commercial and Procurement, the Executive Director of Finance (Section 151
Officer) and the Interim City Solicitor & Monitoring Officer (or their
delegates), subject to being within the approved budget; and
(iv)
Authorised the Interim City Solicitor &
Monitoring Officer (or their delegates) to execute and complete all necessary
documents to give effect to the above decisions.
