On 28 April 2026 Cabinet:-
(i)
Approved
the total project costs for the roof replacement, toilet refurbishment and wire
netting ceiling installation works at Lindsworth School, not to exceed
£2,522,302;
(ii)
Approved
the Full Business Case (FBC) appended to this report at Appendix A, to the
report;
(iii)
Noted
that a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) has been entered into with
Interclass Plc, appointed via direct award under the Constructing West Midlands
Capital Works Framework, for the value of £97,203, commencing in December 2025
for a period of 26 weeks;
(iv)
Delegated
authority to the Interim Executive Director of Children and Families in
consultation with the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Finance (Section
151 Officer) and the City Solicitor (or their delegates) to award the contract
for the roof replacement, toilet refurbishment and wire netting ceiling
installation works at Lindsworth School to Interclass Plc; and
(v)
Delegated
authority to the City Solicitor (or their delegate) to execute and complete all
necessary legal documentation required to give effect to the above decisions.
