On 7 June 2022, Cabinet:-

 

1. Approved the Full Business Case (Appendix A to the report) for the capital works at Baskerville School at a total project cost of up to £1,823,776 including Education Infrastructure Capitalisation of £65,943 Professional Fees of £99,884, Loose F&F of £12,000 and Client Contingency of £118,088;

    

2. Approved the award of a contract to Seddons Construction Limited for the capital works to expand and re model the current key stage 4 and 5 building and the remodelling of the current complex needs building at Baskerville School by direct award using Constructing West Midlands 2 (CWM2) Framework Agreement for a period of 5 months;

    

3. Authorised the Director of Children & Families to place orders to the value of £99,884 to Acivico Ltd for professional services;

    

4. Authorised the Acting City Solicitor & Monitoring Officer to negotiate, execute and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above decisions.
