Decision Details

1. Approved the acceptance of the DfE capital grant of £0.255m for capital activities in connection with the DfE’s Net Zero Accelerator programme.
   
   
2. Approved the Council entering the DfE pre-approved JCT contract with e-Energy for the two above mentioned schools in respect of each installation.
   
   
3. Noted that the Council is obliged under the agreement with the DfE to maintain, repair and upgrade the installations during their lifetime, but this responsibility will be transferred to the schools under a separate agreement as already agreed with both schools.
   
   
4. Delegated decisions to the Director for Commissioning and Performance (or their delegate) and the Head of Service of Children and Families (or their delegate) in relation to the preparation of and the entering into agreements, between the Council and each school to confirm the school’s responsibility for maintenance, repairs and upgrades during the life of the installations.
   
   
5. Delegated authority to the Director of Children’s Commissioning and Performance (or their delegate), and the Head of Service of Children and Families (or their delegate) to make decisions about grant allocations.
   
   
6. Authorised the City Solicitor or their delegate, to execute and complete all necessary legal documents to give effect to the above recommendations.
