On 24 June 2025 Cabinet:-

 

  1. Approved spend of £288,267 on the surfacing and fencing proposals at the following allotment sites:

 

 - Bleak Hill Allotments

 - School Lane Allotments

 - Bramble Hall Hayes Allotments

 - Pool Lane Allotments

 - Francis Road Allotments

 - Coventry Road Allotments

 - Uffculme Highbury Park Allotments#

 - Greenaleigh Road Allotments

 - Henlow Road Allotments

 - Woodthorpe Road Allotments

 - Strawberry Dene Selly Oak Allotments

 - Coney Green Allotments

 - Pereira Road Allotments

 - Shaftsbury Road Allotments

 

 

(ii) Approved the Parks and Green Space Development Service to recover costs/recharge fees of £13,003 from the £288,267 budget allocation outlined at Section 3.1to the report to develop and deliver these improvement works;

 

(iii) Authorised the Executive Director of City Operations to approve the procurement process and the award of the contract; and

 

(vi) Approved the drawdown of £288,267 from the Flo Pickering Memorial Fund reserve.
