On 28 April 2026 Cabinet:-
(i)
Approved
the total project costs for urgent roofing and electrical works at Grendon
Primary School of £2,803,507, inclusive of £32,147 for professional and £81,657
for Education Infrastructure Capitalisation fees;
(ii)
Approved
the Full Business Case appended to this report;
(iii)
Noted
that a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) has been entered into with
Interclass Plc for the design stage and main works, for the value of £113,972,
approved under Delegated Award Report authority on 11th August 2025;
(iv)
Approved
the award of a contract for roofing and electrical works at Grendon Primary
School to Interclass Plc for the value of £2,689,703 (inclusive of a £285,000
contingency), commencing in June 2026 for a period of 58 weeks, as referenced
in sections 4.8 and 4.9, to the report; and
(v)
Authorised
the City Solicitor (or their delegate) to execute and complete all necessary
documents to give effect to the above decisions.
