This report outlines the process followed, the consultations undertaken and presents the final proposed Inclusion Strategy for Birmingham to run for the period of 2023-2028.

On 21 March 2023, Cabinet:-
- Approved the Inclusion Strategy (Appendix 2 to the report) so that it can be fully implemented by the Council in collaboration with the partnership; and
- Noted that the Lead Member for Children and Families, will retain overall oversight of this strategy and the outcomes associated with it. Councillor McCarthy has been involved in co-production and consultation events and has been kept informed about the contents of the Inclusion Strategy (via BCC Directors and the SEND Transformation team) throughout its creation.
