Purpose
Approval of this report which provides details of the planned procurement activity for the period March 2023 – May 2023 for the following listed below:

Refurbishment Works for the Relocation of the Control Centre

Technical Professional Services for the HS2 Readiness Programme

- Provision of waste sacs and associated services
- Provision of Street Cleaning Machines
- Provision of Rateable Value identification data to maximise Business Rate Retention and forecast business rates income
- New Ways of Working (NWOW) – Procurement of collaboration and specialist supply furniture, delivery, installation and removal of excess office furniture

On 14 February 2023, Cabinet:-
(i) Approved the planned procurement activities
as set out in Appendix 1 of the report (except for the managed service
provider item. A separate report to
Cabinet for this item was needed) and approved Chief Officer delegations, set
out in the Constitution, for the subsequent decisions around procurement
strategy;
(ii) Noted the contract award decisions made
under Chief Officers delegation during the period October 2022 – December 2022
as detailed in Appendix 4 of the report.
