Decision Details

On the 15 April 2025 the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families:

1. Approved the project costs for the works at Albert Bradbeer Primary Academy at a total project cost of up to £240,338.This is inclusive of £13,698 Acivico professional fees and £7,000 Education Infrastructure capitalisation fees. The project will be funded from the DfE High Needs Provision Capital Allocation Grant, no General Fund will be used;
   
   
2. Approved the Full Business Case appended to this report;
   
   
3. Approved the award of a contract for the Refurbishment to an Annex Building to create a Resource Base at Albert Bradbeer Primary Academy to Graham Asset Management Limited for the value of £219,640 (this is inclusive of £12,000 contingency) commencing in May 2025 for a construction period of 10 weeks; and
   
   
4. Authorised the Interim City Solicitor and Monitoring Officer to execute and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above recommendations.
