Purpose
To
provide retrospective permission to bid for Rough Sleeper Initiative (RSI) 4
(2021-2022) revenue funding and to spend any revenue received accordingly. RSI
is going into its fourth individual year of MHCLG funding to Local Authorities
to prevent and relieve rough sleeping.

June 2021, Cabinet:-
(i)
Accepted the grant money and delegated authority
to the Managing Director, City Housing to spend in line with the bid;
(ii)
Noted
that delivery will be via Conditions of Grant Aid (COGAs) to the value of
£419,601 to partners commissioned by Adults Social Care Directorate and
approved by Neighbourhoods Directorate, as well as equivalent additional
amounts for Q1 through the sums rolled over from RSI 3 and the transition
payment, but outside of the bid. Other elements fund services provided directly
by Birmingham City Council or services covered by existing contracts.
