On 19 January 2021, Cabinet:

 

(i)   Approved the proposed direction of travel outlined in this paper for the leadership, design and organisation of Birmingham City Council so that it can fulfil the administration’s ambition at this time of both hope and challenge;

 

(ii)   Approved the inclusion of £0.51m in the Medium Term Financial Plan from 2021/22 to fund the increase in costs of the senior management structure.
