On 11 February 2025 Cabinet:-

(i)           Approved an increase in future spend of £41.m over the remaining term of the call off contract that will expire 31st May 2027;

 (ii)          Noted a breach of the rules under section 1.21-1.30 (Breach Procedure) has been recorded in Appendix A to the report and approved a Waiver to the Rules under section 1.15- 1.20 (Waiver of the Rules) Constitution Part D - Finance, Procurement and Contract Governance Rules the value of which is £11.4m covering the increased spend from July 24 when the £10m was exceeded to February 25; and

 (iii)         Approved the initiation of a re-procurement exercise to investigate the opportunity for improving value for money, efficiencies and income rebate through a new contractual arrangement.
