On 10 February 2026 Cabinet:-
(i) Approved the modification and extension
of Interim Contracts for a period of three months commencing 1st April 2026:
· To Equans
Regeneration Limited for the North, West and East areas of the city for the
maximum value of up to £46.2m.
· To Fortem
Solutions Limited for the South area of the city for the maximum value of up to
£28.2m;
(ii) Delegated authority to the Executive
Director of City Housing in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder,
Director Commercial & Procurement, the Executive Director of Finance
(Section 151 Officer), and the City Solicitor or their delegate to modify and
extend the Interim Contracts up to a further additional period of six months
(in addition to the three months referenced in decision (i)) for the combined
maximum value of up to £148.7m, in the event that this additional extension is
required as set out in Exempt Appendix 1 to the report; and
(iii) Delegated authority to the Executive
Director of City Housing in agreement with the City Solicitor and the Executive
Director of Finance (Section 151 Officer) or their delegates to take all
necessary steps and enter into legal arrangements to give effect to the decisions
set out above to include negotiations, execution and completion off all legal
documentation necessary to ensure the delivery of the works and services.
