On 10 February 2026 Cabinet:-
(i) Declared that Plot 6 of the Perry Barr
Regeneration Scheme is no longer required for the purposes for which it has
been held thus far;
(ii) Approved the appropriation of Plot 6 of
the Perry Barr Regeneration Scheme into the Housing Revenue Account for a value
as detailed in Exempt Appendix 1 to the report;
(iii) Approved the acceptance of £27m grant from
Homes England to support the HRA’s appropriation of Plot 6 of the Perry Barr
Regeneration Scheme;
(iv) Approved the procurement strategies for
fit out works as detailed in Exempt Appendix 2 to the report and professional
services as detailed in Exempt Appendix 3 to the report;
(v) Delegated authority to the Executive
Director of City Housing in consultation with the Director Commercial &
Procurement (or their delegate), the Executive Director of Finance (Section 151
Officer) (or their delegate), and the City Solicitor (or their delegate) to
approve the award of contracts arising from decision (iv); and
(vi) Authorised the City Solicitor or their
delegate to execute and complete all necessary legal documents to give effect
to the above decisions.
