On the 17 January 2025, the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People & Families;
(i) Approved the project costs for the conversion of the caretaker house and main building refurbishment works at Dame Ellen Pinsent School at a total project cost of £796,874. This is inclusive of £14,234 Acivico professional fees and £23,210 Education Infrastructure capitalisation fees.
(ii) Noted that the sum of £24,806 has been committed for the Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) and contract award to Interclass Holdings Ltd has been approved by Director of SEND & Inclusion, Children and Families in conjunction with the Director, Commercial & Procurement (or their delegate), the Interim Director of Finance (Section 151 Officer) (or their delegate) and the Interim City Solicitor and Monitoring Officer (or their delegate). The report was approved 1st October 2024 titled Contract Award – conversion of the caretaker house and refurbishment of internal spaces within the main building works at Dame Ellen Pinsent School.
(iii) Approved the Full Business Case appended to this report; and
(iv) Authorised the Interim City Solicitor and Monitoring Officer to execute and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above recommendations.
