To seek approval for the capital works relating to the relocation and refurbishment of Queensbury School Sixth Form provision to provide additional KS3/4 SEND places to meet the LA’s statutory duty.

On 26 April 2022, Cabinet:-
(i) Approved the Full Business Case (Appendix 1 to the report) for the capital works at Queensbury School at a total project cost of up to £4,996,000 plus Education Infrastructure Capitalisation of £149,880;
(ii) Authorised the Director for Education & Skills to make a grant payment of up to £4,996,000 to Education Impact Academy Trust in order to fund the capital works;
(iii) Authorised the Acting City Solicitor & Monitoring Officer to negotiate, execute and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above recommendations;
