Purpose
In the city centre, in response to repeated complaints from residents, two PSPOs were introduced to tackle excessive noise levels on the street which were affecting residents in their homes. The PSPOs restrict the use of amplification, musical instruments and items that can be used as musical instruments in the immediate area around two distinct residential areas and are due to expire in August 2025.
