On 7 September 2018, the Cabinet Members for Transport and Environment and for Finance and Resources jointly with the Corporate Directors, Economy and Finance and Governance:
i) Noted the current position as set out in the report;
ii) Noted the recommended required actions to be implemented by the Assistant Director, Highways and Infrastructure in relation to the Highways Maintenance and Management PFI Contract dispute as detailed in the private report.
This decision is not subject to call-in, in line with the City Council’s Constitution, Section 3 - Meetings Administration, Part 8 - Immediate Decision Implementation (“If the interests of the Council are jeopardised unless an executive decision is implemented immediately then the Chief Executive in consultation with the Leader (or Deputy Leader in his/her absence) may designate such executive decision as so urgent that its implementation cannot wait until the expiry of the call-in period”.)
