To present to Cabinet the Birmingham City Council Draft Day Opportunities Strategy 2019 for approval. This is following a public and key stakeholder consultation exercise based on a proposed Draft Day Opportunities Strategy document which includes a draft proposed Service Model.

• Revenue in excess of £500k

On 11 February 2020, Cabinet approved:-

• The draft Birmingham City Council Day Opportunities Strategy and the Draft Day Service Model, Appendix A to the report;

• The development, in co-production with citizens, of a draft Implementation Plan to support the proposed delivery of the Strategy;

• The return of the draft Implementation Plan to Cabinet in January 2021 for approval.

THE DEADLINE FOR CALL IN IS 1600 HOURS ON MONDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2020.

On Thursday 13 February 2020 at 1015 hours, a request for call-in was submitted by Councillors Matt Bennett and Alex Yip.  No action on the decision can be taken until the request for call-in has been considered by the Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Tuesday 18 February 2020.
