Decision Outcome

On 1 December 2025, Cabinet Committee – Property:-

(i) Authorised the Director of Property & Regeneration to conclude a conditional sale of the Council owned freehold property at Car Park adjacent to the Lad In The Lane public house, Bromford Lane, Birmingham, B24 8BU (“the Property”) as shown edged bold on attached plan at Appendix 1 to the report, and extending to 0.1275 hectares (0.31 acres), to the Purchaser as detailed in Exempt Appendix 2 to the report;

(ii) Noted that the purchaser will also pay a contribution towards the Council’s surveyor and legal costs, as detailed in Exempt Appendix 2 to the report;

(iii) Authorised the Director of Law and Governance (Monitoring Officer) to prepare, negotiate, execute and complete all relevant legal documentation to give effect to the above.
