An Executive response* to a report of the O&S Committee Chairman*, together with copies of the report to Cabinet on 15 October 2019 and the decision record, are attached.

 

* Due to the restrictions during the pre-election period, the Executive response and the report of the O&S Committee Chairman were not published until the morning of Friday 13 December 2019.

On 17 December 2019, Cabinet:-

 

  1. Confirmed that it has re-considered its decision made on 15th October 2019 taking into account the contents of the Report to Cabinet of that date, the contents of the Response to Call-In Report dated 29th October 2019, and all consultation responses together with the two further petitions 2142 and 2156 submitted in support of the retention of the A34 Flyover, and agreed to confirm its decision made on 15 October 2019;

     

  2. Authorised the discharge of the following petitions submitted to the Council and that Councillors Jon Hunt and Morriam Jan and the first-named petitioners be informed accordingly;

 

  • Petitions 2142 and 2156 in support of the retention of the A34 Perry Barr Flyover presented to Cabinet on the 15th October 2019 and debated at full council on 5th November 2019;

     

  • Petitions 2170 and 2171 in support of the retention of the A34 Perry Barr Flyover submitted to the City Council on the 5th November 2019 received post Full Business Case Report presented to Cabinet on the 15th October 2019.
