Decision Details

On the 24 March 2026 the Cabinet Member for Children Young People and Families: -

1. Approved the project costs for the refurbishment works at Park Hill Primary School at a total project cost of up to £389,972.The project will be funded from the DfE School Condition Allocation, no General Fund will be used.
   
   
2. Approved the Full Business Case appended to this report.
   
   
3.  Approved the award of a grant to fund the capital works via a Condition of Grant Aid (COGA), which will be put in place between the Council and City of Birmingham School. This will outline responsibility for delivering the scheme within the agreed budget and timescale. The Council will only fund the amount that has been agreed. Payment will be made upon evidence of works being completed.
   
   
4. Approved the grant up to the sum of £389,972 for the refurbishment works at Park Hill Primary School enabling the re-location of pupils from City of Birmingham School, Stratford Park Campus and Link Centre Campus.
   
   
5. Approved the co-location of City of Birmingham School, Link Centre Campus and Park Hill Primary School; and
   
   
6. Authorised the  City Solicitor (and/or delegate officers)  to execute and complete all necessary legal documents to give effect to the above recommendation.
