Decision Outcome
On 21 January 2025 Cabinet:-
- Approved the Local Development Scheme 2025-2028, which provides an updated schedule of all the adopted Development Plan Documents and Neighbourhood Plans and an updated timetable for progressing the Birmingham Local Plan (BLP), as set out at Appendix 1, to the report, to come into effect on 28th January 2025;
- Approved total expenditure of £0.824m to undertake the necessary evidence base update to progress the Birmingham Local Plan to the Submission stage; and
- Approved the virement of £0.182m from within the Place, Prosperity and Sustainability directorate to fund the additional cost in 2024/25 and £0.269m from within the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan for 2025/26 to 2027/28.
