To seek the determination of a statutory proposal to establish Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in a mainstream school by providing a SEN Resource Base for up to 18 pupils at Ward End Primary School with effect from 1st September 2022.

On the 19 July 2022, the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families:-

1.        Having considered the statutory guidance, approved the statutory proposal to establish a SEN Resource Base at Ward End Primary School from 1st September 2022; and

2.        Noted that separate approval has been given 3rd February 2022 by the Director for Children & Families for the costs of internal building works that would be required if this proposal is approved for implementation.
