On the 22 April 2026, the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People & Families;
(i) Approved the project costs for the works at Guardian Angels Catholic Primary
School. The total project costs of the scheme will be £440,404. This is inclusive
of £15,852 professional fees and £12,828 Education Infrastructure capitalisation
fees.
(ii) Approved the Full Business Case appended to this report.
(ii) Noted that a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) has been entered into
with Graham Asset Management Limited for the design stage and main works
costing for the value of £28,278 and approved under an Award Report in June
2025.
(iv) Approved the award of a contract for Resource Base works at Guardian Angels
Catholic Primary School to Grahams Asset Management Limited for the value of
£411,724 (this is inclusive of a £37,429 contingency) commencing in May 2026
for a construction period of 15 weeks, as referenced in sections 4.8, 4.9 and 4.10 to the report; and
(v) Authorised the City Solicitor (or their delegate) to execute and complete all
necessary documents to give effect to the above recommendations.
