Report of the Executive Director of Children & Families  

On the 11 November 2025 the Cabinet Member for Children Young People and Families:

1. Approved the project costs for the structural and window replacement project at Story Wood Primary School, at a cost of up to £747,244.This is inclusive of £25,352 Acivico professional fees and £21,764 Education Infrastructure capitalisation fees;
   
   
2. Approved the Full Business Case appended to this report;
   
   
3. Approved the award of a contract for the structural and window replacement works, to Interclass Plc for the estimated value of £700,128 (this is inclusive of £76,000 contingency) for a construction period of 20 weeks commencing in October 2025; and
   
   
4. Authorised the Director of Law & Governance/Monitoring Officer to execute and complete all necessary legal documents to give effect to the above recommendation.
