Decision Outcome

On 19 January 2026, Cabinet Committee – Property:-

(i)        Authorised the Director of Property & Regeneration to conclude the sale of the Council’s freehold property interests at no less than the minimum price realisation values set out in Exempt Appendix 4 to the report, either by direct sale to the sitting tenants, by online ‘platform’ sale, or by commercial property auction through its appointed agents during the remainder of 2025/26;

 

(ii)       Authorised the Director of Property & Regeneration, where deemed appropriate, to set individual reserve prices, in excess of £200,000;

 

(iii)       Authorised the City Solicitor to prepare, negotiate, execute, and complete all relevant legal documentation to give effect to the above.
