Decision Details

On the 7 July 2026 the Interim Executive Director of Children and Families, in consultation with the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Finance (Section 151 Officer) and the City Solicitor (or their delegates):

1. Approved the award of a contract for the fire doors replacement and compartmentation at Lindsworth School to Seddon Construction Limited, for the value of £1,979,290 (inclusive of a £250,000 contingency), commencing July 2026 with construction work carried out over a period of 12 months with an anticipated completion date of July 2027.
   
   
2. Authorised the City Solicitor (or their delegate) to execute and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above recommendations. Notes that a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) has been entered into with Seddon Construction Limited for the design stage and main works costing for the value of £89,967.13 and approved under Award Report on 6 th November 2025.
