On 24 October 2017, Cabinet:- (i) Approved the Full Business Case (Appendix A of the public report) for the capital works at the Kings Centre, at a total capital cost not to exceed £2,350,000, which includes £75,000 for ICT, £196,000 for Acivico Ltd professional and statutory fees and £37,000 for EdI professional fees; (ii) Authorised the Interim Corporate Director for Children and Young People to place orders with Morgan Sindall Construction Limited, up to the value of £1,840,000 to progress the works on site and to release contingencies and place further orders up to £202,000 if required; (iii) Noted that the Interim Corporate Director for Children and Young People will place orders for ICT up to the value of £75,000 from Service Birmingham (LINK2ICT); (iv) Authorised the City Solicitor to negotiate, execute and complete all necessary documents to give effect to the above decisions. THE DEADLINE FOR CALL IN IS 1600 HOURS ON MONDAY 30 OCTOBER 2017.
