On 26 June 2018, Cabinet:- (i) That meetings of the Cabinet be held on the dates and time set out in the tabled update to report Appendix A; (ii) That the bodies detailed in report Appendix B be appointed until the appropriate meeting of the Cabinet in the new Municipal Year which considers appointments, with the functions and delegations detailed in report Appendix B and that Members be appointed to serve thereon; (iii) That representatives be appointed/re-appointed to serve on the Outside Bodies until the appropriate meeting of the Cabinet in the next Municipal Year which considers appointments (as detailed in report Appendix C) and that those appointments which are continuing be noted, subject to the exceptions set out at (iv) and (v); (iv) That the proposed Honorary Alderman appointments to the Birmingham Museum Limited and the West Midlands Rail Limited Board be deferred, with the positions shown as vacant, and the City Solicitor be authorised to review those proposals to confirm that the appointments would be valid, and to report back to the next meeting for Cabinet’s approval; (v) That the proposed appointments to Sutton Park Advisory Committee and Erdington Town Centre Partnership Limited be deferred and referred to the Group Secretaries for agreement on the nominations, with a report to be made back to the next meeting for Cabinet’s approval; (vi) That those appointments which are no longer needed, detailed in report Appendix D, be noted; (vii) That it be noted that updated report Appendices ‘B’ and ‘C’ reflecting the final appointments made at today’s meeting will be posted on the CMIS database. THE DEADLINE FOR CALL IN IS 1600 HOURS ON TUESDAY 3 JULY 2018.
