On the 17 October 2025 the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills:-

  1. Supported the objectives within SBID’s business plan in Appendix Two) to the report;

  2. Authorised the Managing Director’s designated officer to vote ‘yes’ on behalf of the Council’s one vote in the SBID ballot;

  3.  Approved the provisions relating to finance and services in 8.1 in relation to the collection of BID levy and payment of the BID levy on one Council property subject to a successful BID ballot (see Appendix Three) to the report; and

  4. Authorised the City Solicitor and relevant services to execute all relevant documents to give effect to the above recommendations in relation to SBID.
