Authority to accept grant resources in accordance with the recommendations contained within the 11th December 2018 Cabinet report and notes that the final detail of the Council’s CAZ will be reported to Cabinet in June 2019 in respect of the CAZ Charging Order.

Decision Outcome
On Thursday 4 April 2019 the Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment jointly with the Chief Finance Officer and the Director Inclusive Growth:
1. Approved the acceptance of £37.958m (Clean Air Fund) and £14.214m (implementation Fund) grant from the Joint Air Quality Unit to fund the implementation and administration of the Council's Clean Air Zone;
2. Noted that the final detail of the Council's Clean Air Zone and the required Clean Air Zone Charging Order will be reported to Cabinet in June 2019; and
3. Authorised the City Solicitor to negotiate, execute, seal and complete all necessary documentation to give effect to the above.
