On 9 February 2021, Cabinet:-

(i)       Approved the investment in BAHL on the basis of Option 3 set out in the report;  

(ii)       Authorised the Chief Finance Officer in consultation with Leader to agree any  variations to the proposal that may arise during the shareholders governance processes; 

(iii)      Approved the use of its powers under Section 12 of the Local Government Act 2003  and Section 1 of the Localism Act 2011 to make the investment in BAHL;  

(iv)      Approved a loan facility to BAHL on commercial market terms up to the value of    £18.5m as set out in the report;

(v)      Authorised the City Solicitor to take all necessary actions including entering into the relevant legal agreements required to make the investment set out in the report.
