Report to Cabinet – Active Travel Fund Tranche 2 – Package 2: Kings Heath and Moseley Places for People Outline Business Case – 17 January 2023

On 22 July 2025 Cabinet:-

(i)     Approved the Kings Heath and Moseley Places              for People project packages 1 and 2 Full Business          Case (provided as Appendix A to the report) at a            cost of £1.6355m funded from the Active Travel              Fund Tranches 2 and 3, the Local Safety                        Schemes Programme Budget (within the THDP),            the High Speed 2 Moor Street Queensway Refund          (HS2 MSQW) and Clean Air Zone (CAZ) Net                  Surplus Revenues;

(ii)    Delegated authority to the relevant Portfolio                    Holder to consider and determine any objections            to Traffic Regulation Orders advertised as part of            the Kings Heath and Moseley Places for People              packages 1 and 2 project;

(iii)   Delegated the approval of Full Business Case(s)            for subsequent packages of the Kings Heath and            Moseley Places for People Project to the relevant          Portfolio Holder, in doing so rescinding the                      delegation previously approved by Cabinet; and

(iv)   Authorised the Director of Law and Governance              and Monitoring Officer (or their delegate) to                    negotiate, execute, seal and complete all                        necessary documentation to give effect to the                  above decisions.
