Permission to submit a full application to DCMS MEND fund in October 2021 - DCMS has recently published details of a capital fund to support ‘vital and urgent’ repairs to museums and heritage buildings (the MEND fund). Whilst applications can be for up to £5m there is only £18.5m available for the whole country so competition will be fierce. Applications over £1m will require 10% match funding but it is expected that the planned programme of M&E (rewiring) works to Council House / BMAG complex will more than meet that requirement.
